Love this dispenser! Can be used for drinks or liquid laundry detergent/bleach/softener/etc.. I used it for my liquid laundry detergent in my laundry room, and it has made quite the difference in the overall aesthetic of the laundry room! The spigot installation is pretty self-explanatory, however, just know the lid does not secure tightly because the airflow is needed for the spigot to actually work. So I did not lift from the lid, however, if it were to drop, I would bet my hat that it would not break, the glass is very thick! 10 out of 10!

I bought this dispenser in February (2023) as I wanted to increase the amount of water I drank. I thought that putting fruit in the water would make it more appealing, and I'd drink more water, so I purchased this dispenser because it had an ice cylinder. Unfortunately, within a couple of months, the outside of the plastic cylinder (the part in the water) started to feel rough to the touch. The citrus - slices of orange and lemon- seem to have messed up the plastic of the cylinder. I stopped using the dispenser for several months and have started back but without the cylinder. Rather annoying as the idea was to have chilled water. Cam the cylinder be replaced? Happy to send it back if a replacement was possible.

I ordered this jar in April 2023 at a total of $17.24 (with taxes) and now in May, it is advertised at $36.70. I am so disappointed as I was going to buy two more for family members. Over twice the markup - 1. What happened? 2. It's a glass jar!! I mean how much can it cost to manufacture this (even with the metal spigot)???
But past the above, I love this jar. I am so glad that I, at least, got one. It was easy to put together, just screwing the spigot into the glass hole. Do be careful as the glass is a rough cut. The spigot really is metal and really (so far - crossed fingers) does not leak, either from where the spigot meets the jar or from the spigot itself. You turn it on and it comes out quick and turn it off and it doesn't drip. The ice insert is nice but when I tried it, you forfeit a LOT of tea room to have the insert in.
If the price were what I paid, I would highly recommend it. It is as described and is great to make sun tea in. I have already used it twice. I think it would also look nice at a barbecue, party, or gathering to dispense tea or any other beverage. I am so excited about having this jar and so disappointed that I cannot have another one because I definitely will not pay the rip-off price.

I'm using this to make flavored water by adding lemon slices, strawberries, cucumbers, etc. assisting me in drinking more water. The unit was easily assembled and is easy to clean and use even though I have some arthritis in my hands. I had to be sure to turn the spigot to the closed position completely to avoid leaks and even then there was only a drop maybe two of water. I'm very happy with this purchase thus far.
