My 90-yr-old mother is beginning to have more severe mobility issues and was looking for a wheelchair that would fit her, was easily transportable, and would be comfortable in the future for when she may have to be sitting in it for longer periods of time. She was uncomfortable with her very utilitarian transport chair, which even for short stints didn't work for her.
This chair is fairly lightweight, easy to fold for transport, and adjustable in nearly every way you'd need it it to be. Mom is quite petite at barely 4'11'' and also light in the weight department, but she didn't feel overwhelmed by the size of this chair as she did with others she tried.
We're very pleased with the cushioning, though mom mentioned that the armrests are hard. She does wish the cushions came in colors other than black. but we figure we can either find or have cushion covers made easily enough.
Overall very pleased with this purchase, and looking forward to it serving her for the next decade or so.
