Easy enough to install in my 2003 4runner. I originally installed the coaxial version of this speaker, and left the OEM tweeter in place, and it sounded awful, because that stock tweeter was just so muddy. So I returned those and got these components, and they were a little more tricky to install but sound so much better. I have them powered with 100w RMS to each with a 4 channel amp (also put some 6.5in coaxials in the rear doors). Also powered originally with 50w RMS each, it was also great. Haven't tried with stock radio but these absolutely bump with this much power to them. So much so, that I didn't really notice my JL audio 300w RMS sub in the trunk anymore.. the bass from these legitimately overpowered it. So I ended up upgrading that too! Lol. Overall I am impressed with these. Pay attention to the vehicle wiring harness colors when installing so you make sure you have the correct wires, I was able to utilize all original wiring in the doors, with the crossover centrally mounted.

I'm happy with how these sound, I have a 4 channel ct sounds 150.4 bridged, so each side is getting roughly 230 watts and they handle it nicely .

As the title says, what's renewed about them? The box was in great shape. Everything still sealed in original plastic. I had zero issues. Pretty much unopened, unused.

I was skeptical about purchasing a "factory refurbished" product, but these look absolutely brand new in every way. I'm a very picky person and went over them with a fine tooth comb when I unboxed them. I couldn't find a mark or a blem on them. I bought 2 sets and both are perfect. The sound quality from these is absolutely awesome. When I play music, it sounds like I'm at a concert. I'm powering them with a Down4Sound JP84 with the HPF set at 80hz.

My vehicle is a 2015 Ram Crew Cab. The rears drop right in. On the fronts, you'll need to buy a 1/4" thick 6x9 spacer, or else the magnet will rub the power window mechanism. These actually come with a spacer, but it's a little too thick. Also note... if you buy Metra speaker wire adapters, you MAY have to reverse the polarity on them. I had to on mine. Check them vs. a wiring diagram for your truck.

Running these on my Audio Control DSP amp. They are clean and powerful. They can handle some power.
