Works well, but a bit noisy

Overall a good product. Well worth having after shoulder surgery. The pad being soft is great for sensitive areas after surgery or injury.
Pros:
Stays cold if you put frozen water bottles in with your water instead of ice. It stays at a good temperature for hours this way.
Pad is floppy, so it can easily be wrapped around the shoulder. Use a tank top strap to keep it in place.
Very easy to use and set up.
Cons:
It does vibrate and make noise. Not too bad during the day as it is akin to white noise, but could be distracting for someone trying to nap.
Ice and water combo doesn't remain cold. (Use ice packs or frozen bottles of water instead)

This is a great replacement to an ice bag

My husband has had a knee replacement. This is so much more desirable than constantly filling an ice bag and possibly having it leak all over. He would fill the tank in the morning and there would still be ice left in the evening. I'm shocked the doctors don't recommend this at the time of discharge fro the hospital.
Works well

Helps with Mom's pain level....
I need to replace the power cord though... I lost that information...

Works as advertised but I have concerns about durability

The main difference between this one and a more expensive one I tried (and returned due to bad hose connectors) is that this one is not insulated. So what - the water stays cold long enough to do your ice therapy. I use cold packs from the freezer and that is much more convenient than ice cubes. My only complaints have to do with the elastic straps with Velcro used to wrap it around my knee. First, it's a pain to do. Second, the Velcro is VERY powerful and starts to wear either the elastic wrap itself or the cooling pad - whichever it touches. Elastic wrap is pretty 'fuzzy' after 15-20 uses and I'm not sure replacement wraps can be had.
Quiet, extremely useful post surgery

I have actually never written a product review before but always use them for behind the scene information on a product. I purchased this for my knee replacement surgery. I had it about two weeks before my surgery but did not try it until 2 days before. There was a small leak at a connection point but I did not have time to return it. I have used it at least 5 X per day since surgery and am 2 weeks post op with excellent results, relief, plus it no longer leaks. I really feel this has helped to progress me more rapidly to decrease inflammation. I highly recommend the tip of using 4 frozen water bottles in it with water to fill line to cut down on ice use. I just keep rotating 4/4 bottles and it works perfectly.
