Our little Syrian hammy, Rosie is very shy. She mostly love to burrow and stay covered. The only person she really trusts and isn't very afraid of is my son. He asked for a coconut for her. In addition to get space where she burrows in substrate, we try to give her other options where she can tuck herself into. Before the coconut we had a mushroom with a hole that she used occasionally. As soon as we replaced that the coconut she fell in love. She hangs in her coconut often, hides snacks, snoozes. It's perfect.

My hamster is on the large size because he's a Syrian Hamster, but he really enjoys the little treats and apple twigs. The swing is actually really securely made. It's a lot of variety for your small furry baby, and a lot of entertainment.

So the things I got where ok but not quite what is shown. I bought "Color A" and I got the Seesaw, two pine nuts, apple stick chews, bell roller, dumbbell, Unicycle, and Rattan ball, and the apple tree block with rope isn't the one shown in "Color A" it was the one from "Color B" and the Rattan ball is way to big, about the size of a tennis ball. I didn't get the log, ladder, or watermelon ball as shown, Instead I got the swing from "Color B" and the Carrot chew from "Color C" and some kind of bendy bridge that hangs that isn't even shown in any of the pictures. I guess I would still use them for my hamster. But if you where hoping for all the projects to be the exact stuff you see in the picture like I did then these products might not be for you. Either way my hamster seems to like the stuff he got except for the Rattan ball, might give the Rattan ball to my girlfriends rats so I don't waste it by throwing it away.

Rosie is a Syrian hamster who has more energy than she knows what to do with. We use these in her open space play mostly. She especially loves the seesaw. We added thee pine cones and the ball to her large play area. The ladder is in another part of her cage (careful our hooks came out but we were able to screw them back in). The only one she doesn't use is the log, since it's holes are much too small for her - would be good for a Robo maybe. We use it sometimes to hide treats. Overall it's a great deal especially if you just need *something* for your hamster to play with. She is a hamster, so she does get bored with her selection, and we just switch out the toys.
