Got this for my daughter for Christmas. She has been asking for the instrument from Zelda for ages. When I picked Up the box that it was delivered in, I thought That it felt pretty heavy. Opened the box and it was not at all what I was Expecting. The instrument itself is a lot bigger than the picture it came with a necklace to string the instrument through a song book and a really nice hard case to put the ocarina in. The finish is really pretty and overall I'm just really impressed with the quality of this ocarina for the price thank you my daughter will love it.

Looks and sounds nice, Love the case, but received the wrong color (ordered the Gradient Blue but rec'd Cyan Crackle). Daughter is very happy (regardless of the color) so decided to keep it.

This is a really beautiful ocarina, and it came better packages that I expected"”as in, the outside packaging was a standard cardboard delivery box, but inside, the ocarina was in another box and enclosed in a nice, solid, black carrying case. I thought it would come in the bag in the photos, so I was worried about protection, but it was fine.

So far, it plays pretty nicely, but the high B and C are flat. I've been recommended to return this and just shell out the money for an STL or Noble ocarina instead, but I'm not sure if I want to spend that sort of money when I'm just starting our and unsure of how long I will keep playing for. For a beginner ocarina, this is pretty nice, especially for the price point. It looks great, it mostly sounds pretty good, it's little airier than I'd like so the songs don't sound very crisp but maybe that's a pro for some people, and the high notes definitely require more air and effort and volume. Overall, well-packaged and will do for casual use, but if you have a good ear for pitch, you probably want to invest in something more accurate.

It's not uncommon for me to hear strains of ocarina music wafting through the house, which means this thing must be really fun to play. We have no other ocarinas with which to compare this one, but it seems to have a nice soprano tone. Not too loud, not too shrill.

My youngest turned 13 this summer, and I chose this ocarina as one of her gifts (along with a Hal Leonard Ocarina Method book and a Legends of Zelda songbook). She was completely delighted, which in turn delighted me.

The pottery ocarina was well made with a beautiful blue and black glaze. It gives good sound, fits well in your hands, and is pretty to look at. It did not come with a neck cord to feed through the extra holes in the ocarina that we assume are for a cord, but I am going to try a leather cord for her and see if that affects the sound quality.

It came with a nice protective zipper case, but we are going to come up with a padded leather crossbody bag for her to carry it in when she wants to take it out and about with us.

In less than an hour, my daughter was playing "Happy Birthday" for me--which was great, because at her age she refuses to let our family sing the song to her in person. Ritual safely observed for another offspring, for another year. ;)
