There is a notion that when a product is "simple", little care or development needs to be put into it. "grip tape for a mouse? Anybody can do that!" However, when a company actually cares about these small but important everyday tools, the potential for quality is immediately apparent. This mouse grip is one such example; the people who made this product really cared about what they were doing. For example, the included tweezers are just the right shape and material to not get stuck on the sticky side of the tape. The material doesn't rip if you need to adjust it before sticking it down. Even the "basic" task of making the stickers the right shape is really quite difficult - they had to match a 2d sticker onto a complex 3d shape, and they've done so with such precision that a proper application will appear flush from all angles.

There are areas in which Hotline Games could improve. The instructions are printed on weird packing slip stickers, which seems wasteful and cling to the inside of the bag. (I didn't notice the English version until after I finished the process.) Their English isn't perfect. For example, the front packaging says "Perfect function of desliching treatment." I checked, and desliching isn't a real word. In some places, the grip tape's spacing is a bit /too/ perfect. The left mouse button's grip tape can overlap with the G7 and G8 buttons if not applied precisely. However, these are minuscule problems and the product still deserves a 5 star review.

I bought this product because I tend to get sweaty palms while using my Logitech G502 Hero Gaming Mouse. I wasn't really expecting much to be quite honest. Upon opening this product's ziploc bag, I realized that they were much thinner than I initially expected them to be. This was a HUGE bonus, as I was worried that they would be a stiffer & thicker rubber material. After I thoroughly cleaned the mouse off with rubbing alcohol, I applied the adhesive pads. Not hard to do at all. Plus if you initially place them lightly on the mouse to line up all the corners & angles, you could lift it off & reposition them if needed. They are VERY malleable to work into the curves & grooves. The cutting on the pads are pretty exacting measurements. EVERYTHING lined up PERFECTLY. During use, my palms still sweat, but the pads enable the mouse to stick to my hand like glue. Other bonuses are that they add a slight cushioning to the touch & they feel SO much better than the factory rubber side grips. If you're a gamer, don't worry too much about the weight of these pads, it is relatively insignificant. It's MUCH easier to pick the mouse up for performing "FLICK SHOTS" & such. These will give you 1000% more grip & control over your mouse.

Rather than review whether I feel the tape improved the ergonomics of my viper mini, I'm going to mainly compare it to what Razer offers. I only know from what they include with the Deathadder mini although.

For starters, I only dropped one star because my particular kit was missing the tape for the side buttons. Not a huge deal, but after applying the tape the side buttons are nowhere near as pronounced as they were so they're a little more difficult to hit when I need to.

I think Razer's tape is slightly thinner but with a much more aggressive texture. This stuff brings it closer to a "soft-touch" feel whereas Razer's feels closer to a "grippy rubber."

Overall, it's decent. It definitely is better than nothing. I think it's great how well it's fitted to the panels, really gives the appearance that it's part of the mouse rather than an add-on. Personally I think I wish they'd gone with a different texture.

Edit: I just saw that there's a version 2 for these and the material looks just like what Razer uses so maybe look at those instead.

If the seller gets back to me Ill change my opinion cause I ordered this for the G305..... Got a kit for the Razer Basilisk AND there are only the finger button "pads" no side grips like advertised. Super bummed out.
EDIT: a few days have passed, seller agreed to a refund/replacement. Already progressed said return and a new one is being sent. We'll see how it goes. Was 1 star, now 3. If its right stuff its 5. Seems like a decent product
ANOTHER EDIT: So, 4 days later.... Got the return, fits like a charm! Very good customer service and prompt service to boot... Very good product overall, great experience, happy all around.

I've used these grips for a year or so now. Adhesive still holding tight! The grips really haven't worn down too much considering how much I play games. The grips themselves feel great and make the mouse when better! Overall great product!
