Don't destroy the packaging

I bought these because they were highly rated by previous purchasers. The lights seem to work fine but it's too early to comment on sturdiness or battery life. What I do want to call out is the difficulty of breaking into the blister pack and actually freeing the headlamps from captivity. Bring all your patience and your toolbox of sharp things.
Counterintuitively be careful with the darn package because there is no information inside it. It's all printed on the cardboard cover including handy info on lumens, run time etc. I tore my packaging up pretty good after 20 minutes of frustration and couldn't salvage much.
After opening you get a chance to re-raise your BP by threading the headbands onto the lamps and finding out how to get the battery compartment open after you find it. It's not marked. Asking your wife helps a bunch, I discovered (big surprise there...not!)

These are super bright. They work great. The one drawback is they go through batteries super fast. If your working on something for more than an hour you can notice the light dimming from the drain of the batteries.
