I purchased this satin for curtains and bedding accessories for my bedroom makeover. It will definitely serve its purpose. It is not the usual smooth, high gloss, heavy, and silky satin that I expect to see in clothing, but still glossy enough to serve my intentions and the price was definitely right.
note: I read some reviews in regards to fraying which will not be a problem with the application of some fabric glue or fusible webbing along the cut edge. I've also used this type of satin in flower crafts and to stop fraying, I went along the edges carefully with a lighter to singe them and it gave the flower petals a beautifully finished look.
