Is it the most comfortable or leading in design no , but works as it should and my ropes and bridge have works fine with minimal to average wear all season . If your looking to get into saddle hunting but don't know if you'll like it or just a low budget for it buy it . It'll get you out more learning somtbing new.

The buttons that snap the insulation on broke other than that it preforms well. I'd recommend getting an adjustable bridge and some rope ascenders and probably another dump pouch for all the ropes.

This is my first saddle and didn't want to spend a ton of money on higher end saddles. I'm sure the more expensive ones are nicer but honestly after having spent about 20 hours hanging in this one I'd say I'm very happy with its performance. It can pinch at times but can usually be solved by standing and adjusting slightly. I feel safe when using it with all the lines and gear it is shipped with although I can definitely see that replacing the stock tether and linesman's ropes would be a nice upgrade. If you can get it when the price drops below $180 I'd say pull the trigger. I'm 240lbs for reference btw. This saddle, 20" helium sticks and the hsp platform get me in and out of my hunting spots very easily. I also ditched the equipment bad it came with and added 2 molle pouches - one for tether and linesman's ropes and the other for my gear hanger and the back support accessory that is included (use the back support- it makes the saddle much more comfortable).

This is my first go at saddle hunting and for the price this kit will certainly get you in a tree comfortably and safely. First off there is a learning curve to this type of setup. You must be patient and willing to learn. I suggest alot of youtube videos! Take your time and go slow and mythological until you get the hang of it and try multiple hight positions for your tether,it really makes a difference. Once I found what works for my size weight,5'-10" 250lbs, it is very comfortable. The longest sit so far is 5 hours and could have went much longer. My only true complaint is the lineman's rope and tree tether are made of a soft material that scuffs really easy. I will have to replace them after only one season of use. Also a couple of sys haulers would have been a nice compliment to the set. I purchased a set of the "Tactical Molle Drawstring Magazine Dump Pouch" on Amazon for $17 that work really well. All in all a really good setup and the ascender that comes with it works like a charm!
