Although these did not come with any instructions, I was baffled at first. I have never used any quilting rulers and I really want to learn. So my husband and I started using them on paper, to try to figure them out. We did struggle some but then I went to you tube and found videos by DABLINE, they use the exact same rulers (maybe they made them?) and then all you have to do is practice, practice. After a couple of videos I was making practice designs on fabric. I was soooo happy - I can do it. I know I have more to learn but I am excited about the possibilities. Don't be discouraged, watch the videos and have fun learning.
Learning curve is steep.

I like the open frame bottom for easy changing of templates. It takes a lot of hours of practice.

I have never machine quilted before and my machine needs to be in good working order. I need a new belt. So it stops stitching ang if your still moving the template. So you have inaccurate design and crazy stitch length.

Call me stupid, but I just cannot figure out how to use these. I've placed the fabric like it shows in the picture in the ad but cannot keep all the pieces together to stitch out the pattern. I'm new to quilting but even if I wasn't I would still appreciate a how to use pamphlet.

I'm new at freestyle quilting. So I had no idea you either need the gloves or the frame. I was able to make it work with some rubber grips for now, but I'm now waiting on my frame. And rubber grips.
