One Small Problem
Joshua Ruiz✓ Verified Purchase•August 12, 2023
Everything seems to be in working order. One Small Problem I have with this bundle is that the mic clips that come with the microphones do not fit on the bases of the mic stands.
Microphones are HYPER sensitive

UPDATE: We got shock mount for the microphones and it is so much better!! Our audio is now crystal clear and we love this kit!
My wife and I are starting several podcasts. We bought a website domain and everything! All we needed was some equipment that we could use around a table. After asking around online, this was the best product recommended to us. I must say the quality and ease of use is really good. After figuring out how to get the microphone stands to work (just check out other reviews on this page) we were off and running!
Pros:
Very easy to set up and use. We can tear these down, store them, and pull them out again in a matter of minutes.
Battery life is good, comes with rechargeable AAs and a charger. It also has a spot to plug in a USB C cable so you don't need to worry about the batteries dying mid-session.
Microphones are sensitive enough that you can really play with various tones and sounds by leaning away or closer to the mic. They pic up lots of small sounds and don't cut out when multiple people talk simultaneously.
Microphones and stands are durable - they are mostly metal and feel weighty in your hands.
The headphones are super comfy and sound great!
The mixer records 5 tracks at once! It records each mic individually (so if one person is louder than the others, you can adjust only their mic without affecting anyone else) but it also records one track of everyone, so if you're short on memory on your PC, you can just use that one track instead of all 4 individual mics.
Cons:
No instruction manual at all.
Microphones are CRAZY sensitive. If you wiggle in your chair even a LITTLE, there will be a rubbing sound from the wires rubbing against each other. We are still trying to mess with the settings to see if there is anything we can do to adjust this....maybe putting the stands on foam or something? Perhaps I'll update this later after more tests are done.
Sound effects: I made theme songs for our various podcasts but apparently there is a limit to how long it can be? So instead of playing the song live and jumping into the recording, I now have to edit the song in. Also, premade sound effects loop naturally without any breaks from when the track restarts, but if you add your own 3 second sound byte, there is an obvious gap from when the track ends to when it starts again. I'm not sure why this is, but it is very frustrating.
The headphones aren't comfy to everyone. About half of the members of the podcast say their ears hurt after using the headphones. I, personally, love them!
That being said, for the price, this is a good set. You get a nice mixer that records multiple mics simultaneously. The mixer ALSO records calls from a phone (though you have to sacrifice a mic input to do so) and because this is battery operated, you can literally set this up anywhere! If they microphones weren't so sensitive and if there wasn't a time limit on the mixer's sound effect files, this would be a perfect 5/5!
Update! Sound effects must be saved as a .WAV format for them to play properly.

My hubby has a podcast, and this equipment has brought it to another level! He is extremely happy with it. Thank you!
I do not recommend using the batteries. They died within 5 minutes. But the equipment works great when it's plugged in!

Great customer service

The media could not be loaded. Edited; Moving up to 5 starts: customer service was amazing; they are sending me a new podtrak and the mic holders. So I haven't gotten to use it yet; but will update again when I do.

Review will go higher or lower based on response. The mic stands do not come with an attachment to actually hold the mic.. and in turning mine on the pause button blinks and the screen says Zoom but no other buttons or functions work or do anything... about to YouTube a tutorial but everything in the handbook made this week like a plug and play....

Mic stand fits perfectly
john perrier✓ Verified Purchase•May 19, 2023
Okay, I almost didn't buy this because of the mic stand reviews and honestly I am glad that I did. It took me about 3 seconds to figure out there is an adapter inside the mic stand holder that just needs to be unscrewed to use with the mic stand that comes with the bundle. It's a shame people don't use a little common sense before writing reviews.
