The lantern matches the description very well. It's well built, and the rubber (or rubberized, I don't know) material seems like it will handle everyday wear and tear well. It's not blazingly bright. Maybe equivalent to a 60 watt bulb, but that's good to have in a power outage, and it's certainly good for camping. I don't know what the state of the charge was when I received it, but it charged fully in 3 hours. All of the different light modes work as described. I would definitely buy this again.

My only complaint is that it is easy to lose the charging cord. No place to stroe it in or on the light. They should put a hollow area in the base (a screw on base cover???) that would allow you to store the charging cord there and not lose it. Pretty simple.....do it!!
