This is a medium sized bag. It claims to be waterproof, but the inside is a soft fabric, and the top is a canvas that is clearly not completely stain resistant (if you look to the lower right handle of the bag, there is a smallish light brown stain). The bottom part of the bag is made of a waterproof leather, so its great for shoes.
I havent tried washing it, so im not sure how that stain would come out. I assume some canvas shoe cleaner and good scrub might work.
Overall, it is a really nice weekender bag for any trip.

I love the shoe compartment at the bottom so I can bring a couple of different options for footwear. Top compartment has enough room for a long weekends worth of clothing (or longer if you adhere to specific outfits for each day). It is made of cloth so it isn't as rigid as pictured when it isn't full, but that's not an issue for me as it serves its purpose regardless.

This is a nice-looking bag that I hope to use as my personal carry-on item. I can definitely see several possibilities for the bottom compartment: shoes, emergency outfits, a puffer jacket, etc. I wish the main compartment had more internal organization, particularly a laptop sleeve. I plan on buying some light-colored packing/compression cubes to organize my gear. There was a strong odor in both compartments, but I've neutralized it with scented dryer balls.
