This is a quality icemaker waterline box. You will expect to pay roughly 50% more at the box store.

If you're using this between two studs, the minimum distance needs to be 8 1/2". That is the O.D. Of the box width.

I purchased this for a new unit I was building. The product was sized for PEX-B pipe instead of the PEX-A pipe connection i needed.
