Love this handheld dictionary!

This is great for me because I speak some Chinese and can write/read some, but helping my kids becomes really tough when I cannot simply highlight the text from some of our online Chinese programs, so now I can use this to highlight and obtain a definition and reads it for us. I love that we can also save to our favorites, though I'm unsure if it'll become harder to view if we have too many. Very sleek design and easy to operate for my kids ages 9 and 7. We love it so far! Time will tell if it lasts, we did buy the protection just in case.

It scans the line of English and translates right away. It has a lot of functions but I only use translate. As of my opinion, I think the reason for the high price just because of these multiple functions which actually you may not use at all except translate. So I don't recommend you to get this one, just get the original one if you only want the translate function. The translation results are pretty much close to google translate.

the price is what got me. $200 for a translating pen? but why not buy it and test it out? to my surprise, it works well and is way more convenient than getting out your phone and opening translator app. it translates in a blink of an eye, and it also is very helpful in learning english or chinese. recommend! just go for it and buy it if you're unsure whether to buy or not!
