My wife and were able to install this new AC in less than two hours. We fired it up and it cools and heats perfectly and is way quieter than our last Dometic AC. The only issue we had was FedEx was not very careful and must have dropped it. The shroud had a cracked corner. Customer service was great. They rectified the situation that very same day. The remote control is very handy. After we started it up the first time I had to go outside and check if the compressor was going. It will be nice to be able to hear someone talking when the AC is on.

This unit is QUIET compared to the Coleman it replaced. No more headaches after a couple hours. You can actually carry on a normal conversation. The only downside is the circulation fan never turns off. Highly recommend if you like to hear yourself think.

If there was anything negative about this unit it would be getting it on the roof of our motorhome. But with that accomplished the rest was relatively easy. And so far it works great for A/C and heat. As an added note, in the Amazon listing there's a section that says "Frequently bought together" and lists a square foam sealing pad. You won't need it because it comes with the unit.

Have a 35' rv with a 30 amp service. Has special low amp Coleman Mach with power management. Was afraid of the amp draw so added a a second 30 amp service for one of the units. Don't think I needed. So far have only 11.8 amps at most. Incredibly quiet, great cooling and heating capacity. Engineered well. Love the remote .
