Fantastic little desktop amplifier that has totally changed how I feel about listening to music in my office. I've got more than I care to admit audio equipment--amps, turntables, fm receivers, speakers--all over the house but it wasn't until recently that I decided to do something (small) about listening to music in my office. I have a Mac desktop and was just using the built in speakers. Truly nothing special. Bought this little amp and am porting them to some polk audio bookshelf speakers--placement of the speakers turned out to be fairly critical--and man I am grooving on tunes in the office these days. This unit is tiny (and I can't comment on the specifics of the rated output), i love the simplicity--a rocker on/off, treble, bass, and a volume knob. dead quiet--i haven't noticed any hum or coloring in any way. Totally recommended, and at this price point, it's a no-brainer.

I'm an old timer and still not used to the power of these tiny switch-mode amps. In my case I used this to replace the ginormous 30 lb., 7.1 Denon receiver I used for our TV. I only needed stereo. So this little gem does the job very well and the tone controls are just enough to sweeten the audio from the vintage large Pioneer speakers I got for $20 at an estate sale. Handy hint for this sort of cheapskate system: I use the headphone jack from the TV to the Fosi which let's my wife use the TV remote volume all by it self. She hated that Denon remote with 40 buttons on it.

First off, this amp is small, but it is heavier than one might expect given the size. The build quality is very good, and the controls are smooth. Most importantly, it sounds great. I had a temporary set up consisting of a DVD/CD player (Arcam DV88, I think) the Fosi and a pair of Epos M12i's. The speakers sounded livelier and dug deeper in the bass than I'd heard with my previous full sized 'hi fi' amps. This might have been partly due to also using different speaker wire (Knukonceptz 12 gauge from Amazon).

I recently took the amp to work and am feeding it with a 90's Denon CD player as transport and my laptop through an S.M.S.L SU-1 DAC and on to a pair of Epos M5i's. This combination is very satisfying. One day I took the Fosi amp out just for kicks and put the Denon 2-ch receiver back in and that extra bit of magic was missing. An hour later with the Fosi in back in action, I was enjoying the music once again. This was with the Qobuz app at half volume and the Fosi volume knob at the 8 o'clock position, which was loud enough for nearfield listening. I like the tone controls also. My preferred setting is with the treble set at 12 o'clock and the bass set at 3 o'clock.

Being a class D amp it only gets slightly warm to the touch. Having owned many class A/B amps over the years, I cannot detect any shortcomings with the Fosi compared to the class A/B amps I have previously used. If anything, the bass is a bit deeper, tighter, and more powerful through the Fosi than most of those amps.

In summary, the Fosi TB10D is a great little amp for what it is. That is, for small to medium sized rooms and for nearfield listening, and for those who only need one input (although a separate DAC, like the SU-1 can accept two or three inputs before being fed to the Fosi).

For years, I've been in the home audio/theater sound enthusiast realm after having worked for a custom home audio/video company. I've always believed that amplifiers could/should be smaller and still provide excellent sound quality. In the day when most of us use streamers and rarely use an external video source, why do we need a huge receiver, with multiple inputs, 5.1, 7.1, 12.1 outputs and a whole host of adjustments that can be made to fine tune the audio source, when all we are doing is watching Netflix on our Roku TV in the living room?

Enter this little dynamo! I used it to replace my wonderful but dated Onkyo 6.1ch receiver which I was only used to power part of an old Bose Acoustimass setup (3.1- L+C+R and sub). It worked well but the receiver just takes up so much room and generates heat just being on. I deleted the center channel and use this to run L+R channels to the Acoustimass Sub module. It's just enough power to have all of this running through the Bose crossovers. I repositioned my L&R speakers to be more center and re-aimed the upper and lower halves to aim straight and cross. Since the Acoustimass system runs the sub off of the L+R inputs also, I have a full range system running from this little amp. Sounds as good as any mid-level 2.1 sound bar setup I've listened to.

It's been running now for 2 evenings and it has barely gotten warm. Will be looking to get a subwoofer version (M03) of this to run my whole house subs. I use an old chrome audio adapter with a powered sub in the corner of my unfinished space along with many Google Nest speakers grouped by rooms, but being able to build 2 in floor subs in 2 separate areas will provide more coverage. I believe the M03 will fit this need perfectly! Heck, I might even by 2 or 3 if I can find more of the old Chrome audio adapters.

I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking to downsize, building a small stand alone system or even looking to make custom 'hidden' speaker setups.

I had almost given up on these little class D amps until I tried this Fosi TB10D. I was a bit stunned at the dynamic and clean sound of this little amp. Treble and transients are clear and fast. The bass is very good too, not real loose and fairly tight. A real plus is having the treble and bass controls to fine tune your speakers. I found that 2-3 o'clock on the bass is just right with the treble flat. The bass goes deeper and darkens the treble just slightly when at 2-3 o'clock to give a very good sound balance from top to bottom. To my ears and for my speakers, it was much better than the Aiyima A07 that I tried, which was a little bright sounding compared to this TB10D. It also did not have the treble and bass controls to tame down the treble either. This model 10D was also better sounding than the Fosi V1.0G that I tried (not as dynamic and the bass was not as deep). That was probably due to having less power than the 10D!
