Thing works great. The only complaint (and it's minor) is that there's no indicator near/inside the battery compartment (that I could see anyway) to tell you which way the batteries go in, but if it's not one way, it's the other. One goes up, one goes down. Like every other battery-operated device.
I like the you can make it silent and can remember the readings (it's not automatic, you have to press the "m" button). So far so good. Glad to have it on hand when needed.
