I love the desk. It looks really nice

I assembled it myself. Fortunately I had my trust impact driver (my favorite tool) and a bit to fit, otherwise I'd have had a much harder time. For reference, I'm a retired lady with back issues and I was able to haul this upstairs and assemble it all by myself. Some parts took a bit of juggling.

I ended up with 3 A -screws short, but I suspect I might have used them in the wrong place. Fortunately it was just the back of the drawer and some D-screws worked ok.

The instructions were pretty clear although putting the top on I was quite puzzled because it was difficult to tell which side of the top should be down according to the diagram. When I looked at it, it seemed obvious, but the diagram was confusing. For anyone else, the label side is down.

The desk only took about 1 hour to assemble, but the dang drawer took a long time getting the sides to fit correctly. And that's where my back really started to complain.

I didn't have to take anything off and put back on again because I went the wrong way. Mostly that's due to the good design of the piece, but I get some credit for double-checking myself.

My only concern is my monitor base is wider than the monitor stand, but I'm going to figure out a way to make sure it is secure in an earthquake with some straps.

Update: The desk is a bit higher/taller than I would like. I have to put my desk chair into the highest position to get comfortable hand position on the keyboard. I'm going to have to use a foot rest. Also, my desk chair is wider than the opening, and I will have to lift the chair arms up to fit it under the desk. Not a huge issue for me.

I use this desk for my personal desktop and tablet, and I really like it. The monitors are at a good height, and so is the desk surface. It looks very nice in person, modern and industrial but not excessively so, and wasn't difficult to put together (I liked the look so much I bought a matching bookshelf. It fits my eclectic style really well). It's easy to clean and has good surface area. My tower fits perfectly under the drawer, and my internet router/modem on the other side. The bottom shelf fits a cat bed so my cats can "help" me work. It's also very easy to clean. My cats hop on and off it and nothing ever moves.

The desk space itself is narrow enough in depth that it doesn't take up a ton of space, but wide enough to accommodate a laptop, keyboard, and tablet. The raised portion also gives you a sort of "extra" space where you can tuck things away (such as a closed laptop and docking station) without having to contend with the monitors eating up space.

My only complaint is extremely nitpicky and minor. The the bar in the center keeps you from pushing the keyboard straight back under the the higher section. I have to push it to the side, which can be a little annoying if you take hand written notes during Zoom/Teams meetings but still want to chat, since you have to turn a bit etc. But that's seriously the most nitpicky, ridiculous complaint and I know it lol. Additionally, since it's open below the desk surface, you'll want to invest the $10-15 in cord management for neatness sake. It also wouldn't fit most standing desk apparatuses, if that's important to you. Personally I don't use them.

Great work from home desk or personal use desk!

Overall this is a really nice desk and looks great. It was easy to assemble and the directions were simple to follow. Would have given 5 stars however a corner of the desktop was damaged in shipping. In my case it was a back corner so it will never be seen.

To assemble it is a little hard, but manageable.
