Will purchase again, comfortable and true to size. I personally am a 8.5 regularly but I sized up because I prefer to wear thicker socks and these fit wonderfully but still left me with enough room for my toes. I will say that the photos give you the idea that these are going to have white on the checkered lining and the rim on the bottom, it's more of a warm cream color rather than white. Great water proof boot, not too warm but great for cold or hot weather hiking. The quality of the boot is awesome. I highly recommend to anybody who needs a durable but cute set of hiking boots. I don't have wide feet and wouldn't recommend this to someone with wide feet.

I took a trip to the U.K. at the end of November. Bought these boots for the trip and i am so thankful that i did! Did a lot of hiking and walking in Scotland, and it was snowing and icy almost every day we were there. Also lot of walking in England, which was more muddy and damp rather than icy. The boots kept my feet warm and dry in both conditions, and my feet didn't hurt after hours of walking in them. Them being cute and stylish was also a nice bonus! I thought they were sewn into the sole, but it's just glued on which i was a little skeptical about. But they held up more than fine! Highly recommend these boots for cold/damp/muddy adventures

These shoes are so cute and so comfortable! I a wide foot and I was worried it would be too narrow for my foot but they fit perfectly. I tried them on with a thicker sock and was still comfortable walking around! These boots are great quality!

These are more of a black- brown. Against black pants they appear more brown. So if you are looking for a true and deep black, you may want to look elsewhere.

* they pair well with neutral and warm clothing: an added bonus.
* they fit well and are true to size: comfortable
* good grip in slippery conditions (like midwest US winter)
*water and slush repellant
* easy to get on and off
I did treat mine with a water protectant spray.
I ordered a half size up to accommodate thick wool socks and an insole.
