I have an 8yr old son that I have purchased many, many RC products for & this airplane FRICKING ROCKS! If Maverick would have been flying this, Goose would still be here today. Easiest RC I've ever had the pleasure to fly. Battery life is better than expected. I longed for more when my battery depleted. First toy I bargained with my son to fly. It was worth every Pokémon card I waged. If you want to enjoy flying an RC plane with your son, buy this product! You won't regret it!!!. This toy may have a sore foot by the end of the day...from kicking so much butt. My 8yr old son mastered this in less than an hour. Even teenagers can fly this well enough to break the ice with the girls at the park. Yes, I said it...you could be his wingman. Thanks to the engineer who designed this product & all the others along the way.

It's a 40 dollar flying thing. Don't expect it to survive flying into a brick wall. Plenty of grass landings (no gear) and the occasional clip of a tree and still flying strong. 10 recharges or so on the single provided battery, and still going highly recommended for a first flyer or a grab and go flying fix
