This is a mini 5 cup coffee maker which is perfect for 1-2 people. A full pot can easily pour 2 cups of coffee with a little more left over. It takes about 10 minutes to brew a full pot. Just fill it up with water, put 5 scoops of coffee in the basket, and you're ready to take on that 9-5 with a boost of confidence.

As someone who's been using a Keurig for years I was so used to single serve k-cups that I forgot how much better classic drip coffee makers really are. Outside of saving money, the coffee is better tasting than any Keurig I've ever used and you don't have all that waste from single serve k-cups.

I bought this to have a smaller coffee pot and it makes two nice mugs of coffee or about 4 cups of regular size. It is a nice product my only disappointment in it was the lid on the glass carafe is a little flimsy, I'm afraid it's going to break off.
The pot itself and the coffee maker is just fine and what I wanted.

I specifically grabbed this one and the Amazon Basics -cup ... they were number 1 and 2 in several writeups I researched. The Krups is a bit better in several areas: Came with foot pads so not moving around, more sturdy base, and the pot handle is a much nicer size for average/bigger hands. The filter design seems to add a bit of flavor. That said, to keep the design footprint and height, the pot is shorter and squat. Pretty much, it's hard to pour a first cup, and the spout is just ... well, keep a paper towel handy. The original Amazon Basics was still the best in this size, and I'll tie these two.

I bought the 5 cup model. I really like the machine, perfect for a small place and it brewed good coffee. Much better than the other brands that I owned previously. The lid is easy to open and close. I am giving it four stars because this doesn't have automatic shut off even though Amazon's description refers to keeping the coffee 1 hour warm, which I assumed that it will automatically turn off. You have to go to the comparison page to find out that it doesn't have automatic shut off as compared to other Krups machines. I even called Krups thinking that my machine was broken. Besides lacking this safety function, it's a very good machine.
