I absolutely Love these!! I wear a size 8 wide in woman's. These size 7 men/8 woman fit like a glove! I've only had them on for about 15 minutes but so far these are by far my favorite pair of skates I've ever had in my feet!
I would not recommend for beginners because of the wheels. They are decently fast.

These are not really for beginners. I get a lot of compliments on these. It doesn't have a ton of ankle support, think of them like high top tennis shoes. I've always skated inline skates but these are easy to pick up and skate with. Very fast bearings installed on these skates. Perfect for me!

Got these for my beginner daughter. She originally had a classic derby looking skate, but that was too stood and she never got her confidence with them. These are more comfortable and she quickly acclimated to being on wheels!

Nice! I haven't been on skates in a long time! So I consider myself a beginner all over again. These are really nice. I planned ahead and bought team Fomo wheels that are indoor/outdoor wheels. I switched them right away. The stock wheels are nice but I wanted something with a smaller diameter. Anyway. The upper(boot/shoe) is really nice and sturdier than I thought. If you're looking for more support, remember this is a sneaker not a boot. But for me it works fine. Sizing was spot on. I wear a 8-8.5 and sometimes a 9. They don't come in half sizes but they are men's sizes. I went with the men's 7/women's 8, and they fit perfect. I like my shoes snug, because shoes stretch. Even though they are snug, my toe can move and none of my toes are crunched or forced. I plan on changing out the bearings, but the stock ones are good too. It's mostly preference. It's a perfect skate for someone who wants to skate in a sneaker instead of a boot, and not break the bank for a custom sneaker skate. I do plan on building my own, but I wanted to see if I am committed enough to want to do that. I think that is also why I'm glad these weren't so expensive and actually good roller skates. Don't sleep on RollerDerby, they've been around for a long time. I plan on just skating in these, nothing too fancy, maybe learning some moves, but we'll see. I love the adjustable toe stop! I though it would be hard and cheap plastic. It's better, sticks and flex's. Rubber, not plastic. The trucks are a little stiff, but like I said, I'll adjust them to my liking.
