Great monitor! Love the tracking - really helps when you're an overtired new mom and need to look back at the wake up times overnight :)
My only complaint is that when we travel and don't have a private network to join for WiFi, Nanit won't allow you to join a public one. I totally get it's for security of your child, but a waiver for us to acknowledge the risk and then still use would be great. Because otherwise, you're out of luck!

The product works perfectly well when there is wifi, but becomes problematic when traveling. We were at a location where the network required login through a browser, and it was not possible to connect to nanit because there was no password. We tried connecting through a hotspot but that seldomly worked. I wish there were a way to get around the password restriction.

I was skeptical as a grandmother seeing all of the unnecessary items being marketed for new mothers. This one is a lifesaver. It gives me great piece of mind while keeping the grandbaby. You have an app on your phone (this app can be put on multiple phones), which gives you the ability to check on these precious babies whenever you need. Sound and video is great quality. It is wonderful when you travel, as you can take the camera off & put it on a travel stand (bought separately) to put whereever baby is sleeping.

It's easy to set up and use. The nanit insights provide great data about baby's sleep patterns. It also records some memories and montages automatically.
I love being about to see my child's breathing rate at night. "Sleep when the baby sleeps" they say but as a new parent you are so anxious. This gave me some peace of mind.
It also integrates well with the Amazon ecosystem. I can use the nanit show skill on my echo show and fire TV to easily see the monitor feed.
The only negative I have is the sleep tracking feature sometimes says "searching for breathing wear" if it can no longer identify the pattern. This can happen if the band bunches up or shifts (or if older baby takes it off) I think they should have an optional alert when the pattern is lost so that parents can adjust the band or check on their child.
