My Mom had these at her house when she was alive and we all used to get a kick out of watching the squirrels bob up and down on the bungee cord. We were having problems with the squirrels raiding our window mounted bird feeders and emptying them. We are still waiting on the squirrels to discover the bungee, it's only been 1.5 days but are anxiously awaiting the entertainment. We did adapt this to fit the compressed corn "cobs"/logs so they will last a little longer.

THE CORN BUNGEE IS PRETTY WELL MADE. I ENJOY WATCHING THE SQUIRRELS AS THEY DEAL WITH THE BOUNCING CORN COBS. I DO WISH THE SCREWS, HOLDING THE CORN, WERE LONGER.

Watching the squirrels eating the corn is entertaining. Also helps keep them from eating the bird suet. Our other one (not sure if it came from the same vendor as it was a gift) broke after 4 years. It's hard to rate "Sturdiness" on this product as it's been up less than a week.
