Great thicker mat with line points to keep my body in proper alignment.

I love the line points on this mat. They keep my body aligned properly when doing my yoga poses. This was what i was mainly looking for. I also wanted one that was thicker but not overly cushioned, causing me to lose my balance.
Forget about the Both yoga carrying strap and the yoga carrying bag. The bag is so cheaply made that it frayed and came apart on it's second use. Strap is lightweight and flimsy. Better option I found was to buy a heavy duty velcro strap for $5 on amazon.
I highly recommend this yoga mat for comfort and to keep your body in perfect alignment while doing yoga.

After months of using a $5 yoga mat, I finally broken down and invested in a decent mat. I mainly do buti yoga and especially on the cardio intensive parts of class, my old mat would stick to my feet and slide all over the place. I read reviews on a bunch of different mats and landed on this one as being the best choice for a reasonable price. I was pleasantly surprised after using it for the first time today. It stayed put even through a bunch of jumping, and wow, I never realized I wanted more cushion in a mat lol"¦this one is so comfortable! My only complaint is that I got quite a bit of sweat on this mat, and that did make it harder to hold grip for certain poses. For that reason it might not be ideal for hot yoga or really cardio intensive workouts where you are sweating a lot. But for traditional yoga or Pilates type stuff, I'd highly recommend!

I originally received the wrong item. Amazon put me in touch with the company, they had me send them pictures and immediately sent out the correct mat. There's no chemical smell, I don't slip when holding poses and the pink and gray color is so pretty, just what I wanted! You won't regret this purchase!
