Great little printer

Great for home computer. Been using for almost 2 years. Easy on toner and does an efficient job for home needs.
Awesome printer

I love this printer! It does everything I need and nothing more. No crappy bloated drivers telling you to buy more ink every day. No clogged nozzles. I use it every day. If this one ever breaks I will buy another one.
Small and adequate

I was looking for a replacement for my 10-year old no-frills $50 Samsung laser printer that has started jamming and feeding extra sheets. This one costs $95 and has all of the same features PLUS WIFI. It can be connected directly to computer with USB cable included, connected wirelessly by WIFI, or connected with ethernet/usb cable to router. Compatible with Windows 10, Mac, and Android.
Printer drivers can be downloaded from the internet or loaded directly from the included disk.
I set it up with a Windows 10 laptop via usb cable and downloaded drivers from the disk. It was easy and total set up time, including removal from the shipping carton was about 25 minutes, and then I was printing. The directions require a little bit of guessing, but if you have set up a printer before it is fairly straightforward.
The only thing I don't like is that when paper is loaded, the tray is open and exposed to stray dust, spilled liquids, etc. The paper tray on my Samsung hid the paper when closed and ready to print. On the other hand, you don't have to open the paper tray to see if there is enough paper for your task.
Another thing I wondered about was the warning to unplug the printer when not printing for a while (unspecified amount of time). It seems to me that turning off the power should accomplish the same thing.
The power switch is in the back, so the printer has to be in a place so that the back can be accessed to turn off the switch. My Samsung had the power switch on top and easily seen and used. If it must be placed where access to the back is not possible, then the power plug should be routed so that it can be unplugged easily.
There is also a cancel/continue switch on top that might be useful when you realize that you just told it to print a 68 page manual instead of the page you were reading and needed.
Has a very small footprint when closed up and empty of paper, but with paper loaded it has about the same size footprint of the Samsung

Tricky setting up wireless printing from a MacBook
tinagurumi✓ Verified Purchase•September 28, 2023
After reading the reviews, I was worried I would have a hard time setting up wireless printing from my MacBook Air"¦. Lo and behold, it was indeed tricky!!
This worked for me (Model P2502W), Mac IOS 12.3.1
1. Download driver for the exact model on the website give in the instructions and install using the provided USB cord
2. Go to your Macbook settings > Printers & Scanners then select the Pantum printer that should be showing up on the left side window "Printers"
3. Click there button "Options & Supplies" and a pop-up window should come up. There should be a button "Show Printer Web Page""¦ click it
4. You should get to a webpage that allows you to adjust settings for your printer"¦. You will need to login first to change your printer settings - there will be a note on the default username and password to use the first time around, and then I highly recommend changing the password right away to your own secure one going forward.
5. On the Settings tab (see my photo), go to wireless settings on the left side menu > wireless network (click it)
6. Select the radial button "Turn on" if it isn't already selected, scroll all the way down to the bottom and you should see a place for "Authentication""¦. Add your wifi network name (if it isn't there already) and your wifi password and click APPLY.
6. Unplug the USB and try printing a test page!
*I also enabled AirPrint under "Machinery Settings" to allow printing from my iPhone
I was blown away I was able to do this"¦. I'm not very techy techy, so you can bet I did a little dance when I heard the test pages get printed haha
I hope this is useful for you and that all works out!!

Nice little laser printer!!! Wi-Fi works great!!!
Benzi Colon✓ Verified Purchase•September 23, 2023
So after reading the good bad and ugly reviews I decided to take a chance on this laser printer. I'm sure most who are deciding to buy this printer the Wi-Fi function is a big factor into purchasing like it was for me so I'm gonna assure you it does work great and is pretty easy to connect as long as you follow the directions.
First download the driver setup from the website, I appreciate that they included a cdrom but most likely the driver is outdated and you'll end up back at the website. If you are not so technically inclined it might be a bit confusing why you have to connect the Wi-Fi a certain way but if you have knowledge of setting up routers you'll be fine.
The Printer Wi-Fi only works with 2.4gh so please find out if you have 6, 5, or 2.4 before you spend your money on this. 2.4 is pretty standard so it really shouldn't even be a complaint from a lot of reviewers if they didn't do there homework on this printer.
Once it's connected to your router you can print from any device connected to that router and it works flawlessly. I've tried from my phone, tablet, laptop and computer and it absolutely works.
Now the prints are great looking aswell, no complaints on this lil printer at all. Everything was straight forward in the set up instructions and if you are debating because of reviews hopefully mines will nudge you in the right direction!
