I have to admit that I wish the magnet was a bit stronger, but I think for younger children to use, the strength is about right. It keeps everything on my magnet board, even though it has a very thin piece of cotton material over it. The container is smaller than I thought it would be, good for storage, but the letters and numbers are an okay size. The photoshopped pictures in the listing make them look larger than the actually are, except for the photo with the baby.

My 7 year old granddaughter loves sitting in front of the fridge making words and doing her math. Over time, previous magnets I bought (not the same company) got lost so she has been limited in how big her words could be, so I bought a double pack of these.
As you can see, all upper and lowercase letters are there. There are also double numbers, except zero, but you can use a lowercase "o" for that. There is a question mark, minus, plus, multiply and divide symbol. The total amount of magnets I received is 78 - just as advertised.
The magnets are strong enough to stay on the fridge or whatever magnetic surface you choose. They are not strong enough to hold paper up, but then again that is not the purpose of these magnets.
They come in primary colors, which is great for the younger kiddos. Speaking of younger kiddos, I saw many reviewers complain about the size of these letters and that they are a choking hazard. I can tell you these are standard sized for plastic/magnetic letters. These are exactly like the ones I bought many years ago. Once on the fridge, I couldn't tell the old ones from these new ones.
I would agree they could be a hazard for younger children, so these are something you work with your little ones then put them away in the plastic jar they come in. BTW, right on the jar, there is a warning these could be a choking hazard for children under 3 years old. If you really want larger letters you will probably have to go for the foam kind and not these standard plastic ones. I wanted plastic because they are more durable.
One thing to note is the lowercase "a" and "q" looks just like it's typed and not the way the kids learn to write them in school. Trust me, it's not a big deal. My granddaughter has had these magnetized letters for years and she quickly learned to recognize them.
For learning to recognize the alphabet, spell/read words, recognize numbers, and do simple math, these are terrific. With all the high-tech stuff out there now, it's nice to have something low tech that allows my granddaughter to be creative in the math and words she works on. I recommend.
