I have a 5 gallon tank, it does a pretty good job in keeping it clean but I would recommend taking it out periodically through the month and rinse it out. It will have a lot of tastiness on it and won't filter fully. So if you don't mind doing that, then get it.

This is a good filter but it only fits a specific type of pump. This does a great job of filtering
out the fish trash. It does such a good job that it doesn't have to be changed as often, ie,
