Company replaced my blade !
Cristi✓ Verified Purchase•September 10, 2023
At first I bought the cheaper version with the all dark blade and it would not work on my sidewalk. I e-mailed pictures of the sidewalk to Manplow and they sent me out a replacement blade at no charge. The new blade, the "Professional" works like a charm and transformed this tool from useless to terrific. In fact my neighbor saw me using it. borrowed it for 5 minutes, liked it so much that he bought a "Professional" model for himself. This is a wonderful idea. We get snow measured in feet here and shoveling gets old. The Manplow is a clever idea and anyone who has a lot of snow to deal with should look at it. Great tool, even better service.
Good choice

I purchased the 40" and have been using it for several weeks now, in MN. This seems to be about the right width. Wider than a typical shovel but not too wide. Saves time shoveling a few inches of snow. Obviously it depends on the snow depth and how far you are pushing it. Works well for pushing up to 3" of snow. Blade seems sturdy but I wouldn't drop it on the pavement in the cold. U-shaped handle works well. You can buy a cross handle or I made my own but you're limited on how much snow you can pick up because of the size of the blade.
Manplow is the best

I have the original man plow too, which I personally like a little better than this one because of its ability to move past cracks a little better, but my wife and I like this one better for its ability to get under small sheets of icy snow. Overall manplow is still by far the best snow shovel brand I've ever used.
Great for small/light snows

I have 2 of these (48 and 60 inch). They're great for small/light snows but not effective for deep snow. If you know that going in your won't be disappointed! I use the 48 inch to do my sidewalk in 1 pass. I use the 60 inch to push all the snow from my very large driveway to a single strip on 1 side and then use my snowblower to make a single pass and toss it into the yard. Saves a ton of time.
Best money I’ve spent in awhile, back saver with Dom’s bar

Awesome! Best money I've spent in awhile. But you definitely need doms bar. Got a lot of snow in reno this year so splurged since we got to maintain our really long hoa side walk on a corner lot. I managed to clear my 3 car driveway, all of the sidewalk including my neighbors half bc this thing is so awesome. And my neighbor across the street finished his 2 car driveway in the same amount of time with a regular shovel and he's in shape. As am I though :)
Must get doms bar upgrade if you want to put this thing to the full potential and save your back. Trust me"¦. Don't cheap out you already are paying $100 for a shovel just spend the extra $35
