Very good value for a cheap plastic chess + checkers + backgammon set. For the price, I don't mind if it doesn't last a long time, or if pieces are lost, say, if we take this along on a vacation.

This is a great value considering the cost and the nice lightweight easy to store pieces. These are on the flimsier side, but again you aren't paying a ton, so it's perfect for kids or anyone wanting fun inexpensive but nice games. We love these and haven't had any issues. The pieces are actually holding up well with lots of use and we have a great time playing these.

This chess/checkers/backgammon set is a classic you-get-what-you-pay-for item. The game pieces are made of a lightweight hollow plastic material, and the game board is made of a low-quality pressed-cardboard. The game board has an un-reinforced white fold-line across the middle that I'm not confident will withstand more than a few foldings/unfoldings before ripping apart. I guess you could give it as a gift, but I wouldn't.
A nice set to abuse. Great for Children learning Chess, Backgammon or Checkers.

It is what you think. A cheap plastic, cheap board game set. It has Backgammon, Chess, Checkers. This is one you have on the shelves at home and when game night breaks out or you want to go head to head with an opponent. It's a nice set. You don't have to worry about breaking or losing a piece with the kids. The price is so good. For this price, you could have 100s hours of fun. Great Set, to teach the little ones or if I want to beat grandpa. Yes, I would recommend this to my family and friends. This game set is going to the beach house. We love playing games by the beach. Go for it, the value is excellent.
