I have a house full of younger siblings and I'm a 20 y/o first time mom whose raising my daughter with my four younger siblings in the house. I breastfed for a while and these were AMAZING for giving me relief away from the bra fabric or nipple pads rubbing me raw. But obviously they're weak metal. One of my brothers flicked my nipple with it on and it dented. Don't ask me why my brother flicked my nipple. Big family, don't judge lmao.

I'm on my third child and with my other two I developed mastitis later on in breastfeeding. With this baby I had what is called "rusty pipe syndrome" where one of my milk ducts was I guess blown and blood was getting into my milk supply. I started using these along with nipple cream and within just a few days the milk duct was healed and there was no more blood. Also I have been using these consistently as I like that they provide a barrier between my clothes and nipples so the nipple cream isn't getting on my bra. These have helped keep my nipples from cracking and becoming raw. The only thing I don't like about them is that it makes me look like I have very large nipples when wearing them as they can be seen through my nursing bra. This is just a silly complaint though and I don't think anything could be changed to fix that. Overall I feel they are worth the money.

These cups saved my life after coming home with my son. I successfully breastfed my daughter so didn't think I'd have any issues with baby number two. Days after the hospital my nipples looked like hamburger, cracked and bleeding all the time. After talking to my lactation consultant friend she recommended these. I purchased these nipple caps when I was already 3 days into breastfeeding. My nipples were sore, bruised and starting to crack. I experienced significant healing in just 2 days of wearing them. I am now 7 weeks into my breastfeeding journey and I truly believe this product is what has helped me continue nursing my newborn by its healing properties. The only downside is they sometimes can pinch you when you're holding your baby or from your bra. I though perhaps I ordered the wrong size, I reordered another set and it has helped reduce the pinching but it still does happen from time to time. Overall though, I highly recommend this product for any breastfeeding mother.
