I bought this product because my mouse was making too much friction with the corner of my wooden desk. It ended up ripping through my braided cord and exposing the wires, once I covered that with some electrical tape it would get caught while trying to use my mouse. So, my solution was a mouse bungie and this one works great, it sticks right on to my monitor and does exactly what I bought it for. If you're looking for a cheaper solution to a similar problem then I highly recommend.

Adhesive does not go well when warm

It's exactly what I was looking for but the tape doesn't stick very well when it's warm. It worked well for a about a year but since my monitor warms up the adhesive weakens and falls off. Get a heat resistant tape and problem solved.
