I wish I would have had this when my kids were younger. There were so many times I thought my kids might have an ear infection. This camera would have enabled me to look and see if there was any redness or abnormalities. My health care is expensive and it would have saved me trips to the doctor. I am a nurse so I know what to look for but even a non medical professional could take a peek and realize somthing was off. This image is actually my own ear. The image quality was perfect for the price. Highly recommend

This item is well worth the 10 dollars you spend! This is my fourth purchase of this type of item and the last one I purchased before this one was over 75.00 dollars and lasted only 1year!
This one is high quality and I do mean QUALITY! The clarity of the camera is great and is metal not plastic! This item should be priced in the 100 dollar range from the previous prices I have paid for the same item only to be upset with the quality and performance of the product!
Anyone thinking or needing this type of item you will not be upset by the quality and or performance of this product!

My brother-in-law is an Episcopal Priest. (This will all make sense with the following explanation.) On one Sunday My Priest brother in law told the following joke: "There was a man who decided to write a book about the different churches of the United States. He flew to San Francisco and began by taking photographs in the very large Grace Cathedral. Suddenly he spots a golden telephone on a wall. Above it a sign reads $10,000 a minute. Intrigued, he asked about the phone charge and was told "This golden phone is, in fact, a direct line to Heaven, and if he wants to use it, he can talk directly to God. "Thank you very much," the man says and continues on his way. His research takes him to various denominations of churches in Milwaukee, Chicago and New York. Each time he notices the same type of phone with exactly the same sign. Each time he asks the same question, and gets the same answer: it is a direct line to God. He continues on his way. This continues through many other churches until he finally arrives at an Episcopal church. Upon entering the church, he is about to walk right by the standard golden telephone when the sign above it grabs his attention. This time the sign reads "Calls 25 cents." By now he is fascinated. He finds the Priest and asks, "I have been in cities all across the country, and in each church I found this golden telephone and was told that it was a direct line to Heaven and that I could talk to God. But, in all of the other churches it was $10,000 a minute. Your sign reads 'Calls 25 cents.' Why?" The Priest smiles benignly and says, "Oh, my son, that's easy. In the Episcopal church, it's a local call."
YES, I decided that my dear brother in law needed a golden phone for his church. He loved the phone, so do the members of his church The phone sits on his desk and has worked perfectly for three years. It is absolutely beautiful, and the "overdone" ornateness" is exactly what one would expect a direct line to God to look like. Might look a tad bit fancy for someone's home, but for any member of the clergy, you could not find a better gift. It is truly a high quality, solid phone. The photo in the ad makes it look like it might be cheap and plastic, but it is neither. It is actually quite lovely, solid, heavy, and exactly what one would expect a direct line to God to look like.

This is my second electronic ear cleaner and despite the more affordable price, it shows a better photo quality in the ear, but this may be the lens is more focused than the last ear cleaner. It comes with lots of spare ear spoons? Shovels? Haha In case you lose the original one.
It uses USB-C to recharge and you'll need to recharge it once you receive it. According to the App Store for iPhone, the app that this uses DOES NOT COLLECT DATA. This was a huge plus for me and it didn't ask me to share my local network.
I do not recommend over cleaning your ears. This is just to remove EXCESSIVE ear wax or to remove anything BLOCKING the ear canal. Be very gentle and do not get near the ear drum. There are more sensitive nerves closer to the ear drum around the canal. Use diluted Hydrogen Peroxide for excessive ear wax around the ear drum or even for mild ear infections.
I wear audio earplugs a lot and an excessive amount of black ear wax accumulated in my canal and with this device, I was able to skip a doctor visit and perform the extraction myself. I love the independency that this tool provides and highly recommend to other people!

Regarding cleaning, do not submerged it in 70% alcohol, use a clean cloth that is lightly damped with 70% alcohol to clean around the probe. I think submerging it destroyed my last ear cleaning device. 😅

This is my first time using it and the picture is good. The setup was a little stubborn so after I downloaded the software I turned my phone on and off and it worked fine after that. If you have any problems with the product connecting to your phone or tablet after you download the software restart your device and see if that helps. I haven't used the cleaning devices yet. Another tip I have is if you have a lot of wax in your ears you may want to put some warm water in your ear canals, tilt your head and let the water set for 30 seconds or more. Then let the water run out then use the scoop and camera, it could make the wax removal easier and less painful if you have a lot of wax build up like I get every week or so. This is the way the doctor told me to do it. Be careful not to put the device to far in your ear and watch out for your eardrum. I would look online at the photos of a normal ear canal and eardrum so you know what you're looking for. Hope this helps someone and saves them money so they won't have to go to the doctor. I may add to this review if I have any problems with the device. For the inexpensive cost of this it's well worth it and I recommend it.
