Sturdy but not easiest to use

I was skeptical that a ladder like this would be stable and sturdy, but I was proven wrong when I bought this product. The build quality was great and when I got on it, it did not feel flimsy or buckle from my weight. The rubber feet felt grippy and I felt confident that it wouldn't shift while I was on it.
However, I did end up returning this ladder because in order for the steps to lock, you had to extend it from the top which was difficult to do the higher up you had to reach with the ladder. I ended up having to lay the ladder on the ground to extend it first and then lift it back up.

Great ladder. Works much better than previous telescoping ladder, as it closes very smoothly. It is heavier than listed, about 18.7 # vs listing at 14+#. Very sturdy.

I'll be brief: I had an old metal ladder that I refuse to use because it's MANY decades old and my grandfather fell off of it one day in the late 90s.
Suffice to say, I needed a NEW ladder, and in 2016 I believe was when I first heard and SEEN a telescopic ladder in action.
Fast forward to recently, I needed a new ladder for hanging up Christmas lights. The hardware stores around that would have sold them didn't have any in stock, so I turned to Amazon, of course. After looking through the reviews and digging a bit deeper in people's videos about this particular one, this is the ladder I got for myself to use.
And I put it to hardcore use. It's wide, it grips the ground perfectly, has the right amount of safety warnings and FEATURES to make not only climbing and operating a breeze, but also collapsing it back into itself in a SLOW manner. Was fairly stable, but didn't bend in any way that would make me fret for my safety, ALL the rungs when locked in place did not budge. After about half an hour, I grew comfortable with using it, and when I was done, was easy to collapse together to store away INSIDE OF THE HOUSE without taking awful amounts of room.
In other words, YES, I would recommend this one if you happen to hear of telescopic ladder and want to know what's good. And I rare write reviews!

The one-button retraction is the ladder's best feature. It collapses gently through a hydraulic function that will prevent injury to fingers that is dangerous in other brands. Quality and stability are outstanding. I am 156 lbs working from the 8 feet level and the ladder is sturdy with very little flex.
