I am an ICU RN in a CVICU and between watching an open heart (CABG) and other things I tend to perform minor procedures on myself and my dogs. I like this set because it comes with two blade types. The packaging seems sterile and well made. The only thing I would like to see change is the label on each scalpel. It is very hard to determine if you have a #10 or #11 (only reason for a 4 star rating)!

The blade works very well. I had an in grown that turned into a pimple that was getting very very deep. I ended up having to cut quite deep to pop it. This made the cutting as painless and simple as it could. When I was done, the cut was so clean that it sealed up immediately and I was all closed up the next day. Great blade, glad I got 10.
