I stupidly thought my cats wouldn't bother my brand new couches because they never scratched the old couch. WRONG. I've been living in a pile of pillows and blankets blocking the couch from their little razor claws for weeks and finally gave in and ordered these. I might venture to find a longer size to reach the back but I'm very satisfied that it's covering the front of the arm since that was the best scratching spot for them.

Im not sure if its the shape of my couch or the product itself but it took a WHILE to get this thing on and figure out the best way to secure it. I think it would have helped if it came with some instructions, but it doesn't. After wrapping the long velcro pieces around my couch a few different ways, I finally got it to stay and look good on the couch. It isn't completely flush with it, but its good enough. Now the arms are protected from the little demon I keep in my home and she loves scratching on this even more than before.
