I was skeptical at first but was hopeful and gave it a try. I had UV glued nails with UV gel polish. I tried 1 hand first, applying all over the nail itself. Played on my phone for about 15 minutes then rubbed most of the polish off easily. I was impressed, it worked better than traditional soaking. I then applied again, waited about 10 mins and it not only removed the remaining polish, but also most of the glued nail. I was easily able to gently remove the remaining part of the nail because it was so pliable. I will absolutely be ordering this again. No more traditional soak offs for me.

I decided to try this at-home solution because I'm impatient and want the freedom of removing it when I like. The pros are, it does work and my nails are undamaged. The cons: It's messy, and takes about a half hour to get through multiple coats and scrapings (again, I'm impatient). I think it is worth trying if you are like me and don't want to book an appointment at the salon to just get your gel removed. I'm also scared of trusting nail techs to this, after a friend had a bad experience with her salon gel removal.
My technique was to use a cuticle scraper (I used a metal one) to remove the various layers. I put many many coats on - maybe 10? - and probably should have waited longer than a few minutes between coats to let it sink in. :)

This stuff works like a charm! I switched to this so I wouldn't be soaking my fingers in acetone. It's much quicker too! Only downfall is it said 1oz and I only received 0.5oz bottle. Very misleading.
Removes gel polish but use with caution with gel overlays.

I buffed the shine off, applied to a few nails at a time and it was effective in removing gel polish. I also wear builder gel overlays on my natural nails and it did remove most of the builder gel as well. This actually worked well for me because I do a fill/re-balance when I change polish and it saved time with much less time filing down the product. I would use with caution on gel or acrylic tips as may damage them or cause lifting.
