I live in a small space, and this machine is perfect. Very light weight, not a whole lot of bells and whistles, so it's not a chore to store and pull back out as needed.

I agree with others who say the length of the foot pedal cord is too short. This problem may have to be overcome with the pedal sitting up on a platform.

The machine came with very basic use instructions, so startup was a little tricky, but there is good information on YouTube that gives some other tips and goes into more detail regarding what the machine is capable of.

This machine is for light duty only!! Don't expect to be able work with heavy, thick fabrics. Three layers of denim just about maxes out its efficacy.

Just a suggestion: when not in use, keep the machine covered by a cloth or in a plastic bag tied up in order to protect it from dust which can quickly reduce its lifespan.

The media could not be loaded. I had a small
DIY job that needed some sewing done but I had done it in along time and never had a Machine. I landed on this on Amazon but was skeptical to buy. When I eventually bought it and used it, I found it easy to get back my sewing skills. It is lightweight and small, makes it easy to pack and move it at round. It's great for small jobs.
The instructions were okay but could be better. I browsed videos for others machine and found applicable to this product as well.

I haven't used a sewing machine in about 7 years (I took 1 class in high school) and only recently started hand sewing again. Initially I thought my machine was broken because the on/off button just made it run automatically and the instructions only include the bare minimum with no specificity. So if you are a true beginner watch some YouTube videos!! The on/off button is solely for the automatic sewing function. Once you plug it in, it's on so be mindful of the foot pedal. There's an antenna on the top (pictured with it pulled up) that I was so confused about. It's to hold your thread to refill the bobbin!

Pros:
-it only took about an hour and two videos to figure it out. (After I got the hang of rethreading it).
-it's super cute and small, perfect for any hobby use!
-it has this little space that (I'm assuming) is used to help when you're sewing something round. Which was really nice!!

Cons:
-the instructions are SEVERELY lacking, and potentially the cause of some negative reviews.
-limited uses (not an issue for me but anyone looking to do bigger/thicker things just buy a larger one!)
-it can't do the fancy stuff like back stitching so make sure you spin it around and close the stitch!
-the cords are NOT long enough. I have to work on the very edge of the table and I just wish at least the foot pedal cord were longer.

For my first use as a (mostly beginner) I think it's great for the price! Just take your time, watch videos and remember if you're getting frustrated take a step back and return to it later!

The media could not be loaded. It was great in use, i love it, its so compact to put in your drawer and can carry while traveling. It's so convenient to use. I'm loving it.
