I needed to replace my old power strip with surge protection since the lights indicated it was done. To save space & eliminate clutter by my desktop computer I selected this outlet type of surge protection based on other reviews & it fits perfectly in my GCFI outlet. No need to use the included screw since I'm not plugging and unplugging my cords. Haven't used the USB ports on the side yet but they're good to have"¦just in case. Really like the rotating outlets, helps to cut down on space hog plugs, so you can easily use the other outlets. We live in Florida and our power is off & on quite frequently since we're still recovering from the hurricane so I'm comfortable with the surge protection provided by this unit. Will purchase additional units when my other surge protection strips are rendered useless.

It seems these days two outlets are never enough with our electronic devices competing for an outlet with lamps, fans, etc. This wall outlet extends the number of outlets available, as well as offering USB ports. Additionally, being able to switch orientation of individual outlets is incredibly useful.
