Perfect addition to outdoor gazebo

This light string works well. Only word of warning is to make sure the bulbs are screwed down until they won't turn anymore, for a good electrical connection. The remote control works well, but it needs to have direct line-of-sight to the clear window in order to work.

I charged the solar panel three days by itself, like the directions asked, but when I plugged them in they didn't turn on. So I unscrewed all the lightbulbs and put them back in tighter and they turned on. Other than all that effort I love them!
Bulbs need to be tightened

The waterproof sockets make it difficult to tighten the plastic bulb. You must continue to tighten the bulb by hand, despite it's reluctance to screw in easily, until is is firmly seated and cannot be further tightened. Don't use pliers as you will damage the bulb. Failure to solidly seat the bulb will likely prevent some or all the bulbs from lighting up. I discussed this with the seller and they agreed that it was not adequately covered in the manufactures' instructions. Once you get past that, the product works as advertised.
