Extended my sewing surface

I needed a narrow table next to my Gidget II sewing table to have support for a larger piece for quilting. At 16x32, this is perfect.
It came quickly, and I put it together in 15 minutes. Nice and sturdy. The open room underneath is handy to tuck in my larger sewing items.
The key feature was the height, 28 inches, which is close to the height of the sewing table.

The Desk Delights:
Just Right Size: The 48-inch width is spacious enough for a computer setup and some extras (like my plant buddy, Pete the Pothos), without overwhelming a room.
Sturdy & Steady: This isn't a wobbly affair. Once set up, it felt solid and stable, ready for all my desktop adventures.
Clean Aesthetics: Modern, sleek, and minimalistic. It effortlessly matched my room décor and gave the area a tidy appearance.
Easy Assembly: Trust me, I'm no DIY guru. But the instructions were clear, and all parts were labeled. Had it up and ready in no time!
The Minor Hitches:
Surface Sensitivity: I'd recommend a good coaster or mat. The surface, while sleek, can be prone to scratches or water rings.
Cable Conundrums: Cable management requires a little creativity since there aren't built-in provisions. Some cable clips or a cable box did the trick for me.

Sturdy desk overall

This desk looks great, I like the look and feel. I have an electric varidesk and two monitors and a laptop on it. It doesn't jiggle, even when I bump into it it barely moves.
My biggest issue with it (and another single desk I got at the same time) is I could not put all the screws in due to the holes being off by a quarter inch or more. However, this doesn't affect the sturdiness of the desks in this case, because the ones that are off are in the middle of long sides. This isn't to say your desk will have the same mismatched holes. If the corners would have been off, I have no idea what I could have done about it, other than drill new holes (not something I would have wanted to attempt) because the second biggest issue was there is no way, once you open the box, that it's going to go back in that box. The cardboard is very cheap, and kind of crisp. It breaks easily and once it was open everything just kind of fell out.

Great product. Very pleased.

The box had some damage but the contents were well protected and undamaged. Very easy to assemble. I did not have a rubber mallet, but I used a piece of cardboard from the box to cover the metal and used a regular hammer and that worked. The side can be attached to the left or right, whatever works best for your space. This desk is very sturdy and looks great.
Sturdier than I expected

I bought a desk that was similar, but bigger, and this smaller desk is more sturdy and well put together than the bigger one. On the bigger one, the bars where they connect won't stay put together, but this smaller desk connects differently and it just works, and I am confident in the build of this desk rather than the other one. I can easily move the smaller desk without worrying if it will fall apart while moving it.
