I haven't really tested to see how well they track on the rails. They have plastic wheels and I'm not a huge fan of plastic wheels. (I'm moving from HO scale to N scale so not sure if the smaller scale makes a difference on that detail) I knew it was plastic wheels before i purchased i figured I could probably find a good source for metal wheels later if I'm not happy.
Install was easy on my old rolling stock with push pin for holding the trucks on. Which is 90% of my rolling stock.
Screws provided are completely useless. Need 1 size bigger and to be about 1mm longer to go through into the truck frame with enough bite into the car frame to hold. Might work if the car has a peg built in to the car body with a screw. But then you could use the old screw.
The washers ended up being the perfect size. I was able to put the peg through the washer and use the old peg to hold the new trucks on. Instead of the provided screw. the hole on the new trucks are to big and the peg goes right through if perfectly centered in the hole on the truck. But with the washer it works. (To big is better than to small)
I will be buying more for the rest of my Rolling stock.
