So my hubby did his first, then explained it to me. We boiled water and inserted the stick into the mouth guard hole and immersed the mouth guard into boiling water in a bowl for 15 to 20 seconds. Make sure bowl has enough water to cover the entire mouth guard. We immediately turned it upside down to drain water from mouth guard before inserting into our mouth. We pressed the mold into the front teeth by oushing the skin above our kios into the mold while biting down and used our tongue to push the inner U up against the back of the teeth all the while sucking in air. When we pulled it out, he had a bit of imperfection on back tooth while I had a bit of issue with under the front tooth likely from how he pulled out the popsicle stick. It does say we can rebuild and do it again. But we got so close to perfect that neither of us wanted to redo it. It says you can trim it but neither of us wanted to mess with it.

This is a new type for me. I had another with a stiff plastic form that held the moldable rubber. I've only worn it a few times but I like that the hurtful edges could be trimmed so easily. I'm also told that guards cut down on my snoring, so that's an added plus. I also like that I got so many in the package. These will last me a good long time.

I love that it comes with a nice container with holes in the bottom. My last one didn't. It's easy to use and comfortable, lasts twice as long as my last one and the amount for the money is great. I haven't needed to make a second mold yet.
