First of all, if you are buying this as your CCTV system's main viewing monitor, don't. You will not be happy. It is too small, resolution is too low, and the touchscreen will not work properly with most NVR/DVR systems. That aside...
I am an installation and service technician who installs CCTV systems. When configuring systems for my customers, I need a portable monitor to configure that is easy to set up and take down, small enough to easily transport into and out of a location, and allows me to view the system interface to do my configs and then leave. For that purpose, this thing is awesome. Just big enough and clear enough to see what I need to, show the camera live feeds to the customer, etc. and then put it back in the box for the next location. I can also use it on other panels that may require a monitor but one isn't on site. Trust me, as a technician, you need this along with your mouse and keyboard in your truck at all times. This is a good one. Touchscreen is wonky sometimes, of course, picture quality should be 1080p but isnt, and the screen quality is lacking, but it is a good price.
