I like these socket connectors, but be aware of the assembly requirements

The RCA socket connectors must be inserted from the outside (plug end) of whatever you are installing it into and tightened from the inside - and then the solder connection made. In other words, you have to have enough room to make the solder connection inside that panel to use the. If you don't have the room to do the solder work and need to do a blind install and tighten the housing nut from the outside, you need a different style connector. I should have realized this when purchasing them as the details make all the difference in whether it will work for your particular installation.

Decent build quality. Good, tight connection. However, care should be taken when tightening. It wouldn't take much to strip the threads. Just tighten slowly and stop when you it's tight. No more.
