I'm not going to taste freeze-dried raw beef liver to see if the flavor profile is sufficiently nutty with notes of oak or whatever. How should I know anyway? My dog loves these things.

She loves freeze-dried raw beef liver generally, and these specific treats get the job done more affordably than what I can get at local pet stores. It seems like there is less dust in the bag, and more chunks of nauseatingly disgusting freeze-dried raw organ meat. Yick. Oh. I mean yum. At least as far as the dog cares. (I'm glad I'm not a dog.)

What I like about this product is that my dog loves it, plus it is good for her. There are no added things: not even vegetables or other things good for her. Just one ingredient and it's all nourishing. My dog won't eat even things labeled "dogs love their taste." But these she loves.

First of all, this is a huge bag of treats. AND MOST OF THE CONTENTS ARE INTACT!! I have purchased other expensive freeze dried treats, only to find a large portion of the weight is "treat dust". These are exceptional.
The individual treats are just the right size, and hold up to long walks and training pouches. Both my young Shepherd, and elderly Chihuahua absolutely love them. AND even our fussy, grumpy, old cat thinks that they are YUMMY. I highly recommend these treats to pet parents.

My dog LOVES these treats. He would probably learn how to drive the car if he had to, to get one of these treats. He has completely trained us with these treats. When it's crate time, if we have these treats, he'll go running into his crate. If we don't, he plays Ring Around The Rosey with us, all over the living room, as we try to catch him.

If someone comes to the door, and one of us wants to get out without the dog, the other person opens this bag of treats and the dog no longer cares who's at the door, he's so focused on the treats.

One of the things I do with this, because sometimes he doesn't feel like eating, and when he doesn't eat, he'll get sick, is I'll fill up his food ball with his kibble, and pop in a couple of treats, and he'll happily play with the ball for as long as it takes to dig out all the food and treats, and he devours all of it.

I'll do something similar with chewies, when he's not sure if it's a chew thing or a throw thing. I'll stick one of these treats inside of it, and he sits on the couch and chews on the treat. I also put it in his Kong, with kibble. Once he starts eating, it's like he realizes he has more food in his dish, so he goes over and finishes it.

The only time I've seen him ignore this treat was when the vet tried to give it to him. At the vet's, he turns into a feral cat in a dog suit.

These freeze dried Liver treats have been by far Remi's favorite treats! They worked great as a high reward treat for bathroom training, I broke the treat in two, kept some by our back door, would grab a piece on the way outside with Remi, reward him immediately for using the outside as his bathroom!
Dogs love scents, Remi loves to find things! I take out a few of these treats, cut them into pieces, Remi has learned to sit and wait as I go into another room, close the door and hide them all over the room! I will put one behind the door, one the window sill, up on my husband's desk, at the bottom of Remi's little box of toys, behind our recliners, one in my pocket, all different types of places! When we first started I kept the treats out in the open for him to find easy. Now he's amazing at finding these! He loves them so much! I open the door, say, find them Remi! It's so much fun to watch him! I have moved to different rooms in the house, this is his favorite game, mine too! I have read that when dogs spend time doing activities like this, it's very good for their brain, even will tire them! This is a great game to play, try it! If there is dust or crumbs on the plate I use while cutting them, I pour it over his dog food! Remi knows when Amazon delivers this bag of treats!
These treats are freeze dried, by far the best freeze dried I have purchased. The price may seem high to some, remember you can cut them in half, or cut them even smaller. Healthy treats! There is usually a small amount of liver dust left in the bottom of the bag, don't throw it away, mix it up with their dry dog food!
