The slight bitterness can be workable in to food but will not be buying this again. I know it doesn't have to be bitter to be garlic and add flavor we enjoy.

I purchase this regularly from Amazon. I cannot live without it, even though I use fresh garlic as well. This powdered form goes into a small spice shaker, and I add it to all of my soups, and to really everything that I cook. It will fill up the shaker several times and last for a year, and I store it in a double zip plastic bag. It is delicious too, and doesn't give an overpowering taste, like the stuff you buy already in jars from grocery store. I would highly recommend this.
