Could not be happier with this product. The sound is really good for a 500 dollar turntable. Considering the cartridge is 260 on its own and the upgrade platter would be 60 bucks this is a no brainer from Fluance. Not sure why someone would pick the other RT models. Will say the engine does not always stop when the record ends but it is not a problem. I don't use vinyl for background music. When I use this I am listening.

The rising and lowering lever too close to the tonearm. Easy to bump into it with the finger. Seems like mine turntable came with old style not the improved one, located away from the tonearm. Disappointed with that. I had to buy another powersupply aswell.

The easy set up is very reassuring when you haven't done it in awhile. Using the provided level I was able to very easily set the plinth to level. With the black gloss finish, you MUST wear the supplied gloves! Deep and shiny. The Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge is everything that's been described in all of the reviews. I compared it to the red, bronze, and black. For the price point and the sound it is a very good deal. I have this hooked up to a Rotel A11 integrated amp. You won't be disappointed with this purchase.

Upon receiving the turntable, I carefully unpackaged the box, taking care to not lose any of the items enclosed. Set up was pretty straightforward. By following the step-by-step instructions, I was confident that everything would work as expected. Sure enough, it did! Even installing the cartridge was fairly simple. I loved listening to the first album on this turntable. It seems to play even old albums with relative ease and didn't over emphasize the pops and skips in records. A nice piece of electronic equipment! Quiet, with zero hum, thanks the grounding wire. What a relief!
